Teenage Birthday Card

Good Morning, Sorry to say that I have been missing. However, I did create this card this morning for my teen grand daughter. She has a birthday this week-end. Gosh, It's hard to believe how fast she is growing into a young woman. But on this card, I used Elegant Eggplant, Melon Mambo and River Rock card stock and Designer Series Paper Stack DSP from Stampin Up. I ran the Elegant Eggplant through the big shot with the Chevron embossing folder and also used the Cupcake Builder Punch and the Scallop Edge Border Punch. The letters are cut using my cricut and Lyrical Letters Cartridge. If you would like to order the supplies to recreate this card, go to http://pegscorner.stampinup.net The order numbers are : Elegant Eggplant CS #105126, River Rock CS #108640, Melon Mambo CS #115320, Designers Series DSP #117154, Cupcake Builder Punch #121807, Scallop Edge Border Punch #119882 and Chevron Embossing Folder # 127749. Let me what you think! and as always, Happy Stampin...

Soul Mates Scrapbook Page

Hi there, This a photo of a scrapbook page I made. I did case it from splitcoast. I'm very sorry I could probably not find it again. But I loved it. Mine is not exactly the same as my inspired one, but I still love it. The paper is from of course, Stampin' Up. It's called Morning Mocha and is retired now, but I have a pack left that I will make a few pages from for an upcoming Craft Fair.. I have to add, that the photo was taken by my photographer (daughter). She does such a great job. I just really love her photography work. Notice how she kept the pump red on this black & white photo. Hope you like.. and thanks for stopping by..

INTRIGUED!

I have been trying for a very long time to learn and understand the life of this man. I can't explain why, but I feel like I just need to know what made him tick.. For this man is my Great-Great Grandfather. His name is Ferdinand Wiese. This is the only photo that I have of him. Don't know what kind of uniform this is. All I know is he came from Germany, sounds like a very stern man with a temper, and died in Iowa in 1886. But one thing I do know is that he gave me the BEST Great-Grandmother anyone could ask for. So, if you are reading this and are a history buff, please leave me a comment on your feelings of what the uniform is.. I really would like to solve my mystery.
